Unified GSE maintenance operations for the three wholly-owned USAirways Express carriers as Director. Oversaw transition to FleetAnywhere on Oracle of equipment maintenance records. Provided customers with complete preventive maintenance and repair programs for GSE, offering quick and accurate diagnosis of problems and creative solutions. Customers included USAir, USAir Express, American Airlines, American Eagle, Delta Airlines, Dynair/CFE Services, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, Zantop International Airlines and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Developed and implemented customized, automated, data acquisition and testing system on a Macintosh computer platform. Work included writing an integrated package of software programs to acquire, analyze, store, index and retrieve data. Redesigned and restructured existing line of equipment to make a large number of optional features and configurations available using the minimum number of unique parts.

Designed and developed new aircraft ground support equipment for the domestic and international market. Managed development teams on various central system and mobile air-conditioning products. Oversaw documentation of new products including drawing editing, bill of material and technical manuals. Set up production testing procedures for quality control purposes. Designed and conducted performance tests. Administered customer contracts for central system air-conditioning products. Specified manufactured parts to production department and located, specified and purchased parts from outside vendors. Provided upper management with load calculations, cost analysis and pricing analysis.
 
Set up and maintained office personal computer network including three Macintosh computers, Laserprinter, dot matrix printer and shared hard disk. Acted as system server and operator. Set up programs to handle cost analysis, bill of material and product performance testing. Set up and maintained computer based data collection system used in conjunction with testing.
 
Supervised electrical assembly shop. Supervised drafting department. Conducted field evaluations of 120 Ton diesel driven automatic air conditioner and heater, experiments in over the bridge air delivery ducts, and several air delivery hose storage mechanisms. Developed product known as Universal Utility Carrier to transport liquid and electrical services over telescoping passenger loading bridges. Developed line of air handling units designed for mounting on passenger loading bridges. Developed diesel driven direct expansion air-conditioner with automatic starting and regulating features. Developed control circuits for twelve separate air-conditioners including simple electromechanical to programmable controller based circuits. Designed and supervised construction of 4 gate centralized preconditioned air system at the remote parking pads, Los Angeles International Airport.

Studied Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences and Computers. Worked in Social Science research department. Designed measuring instruments for surveys, participated as assistant in studies of Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and ran statistical analysis of data for other college departments. Participated in opinion survey of area residents during the crisis at Three Mile Island.
